We welcome big achievers, professors, research scholars to contribute their original works in forms of case studies, empirical studies, metaanalysis and theoretical articles and illuminate the pages with their universal ideas and fresh perspectives to make the journal synonymous to the entire research field.

Publication Process of JES:

The publication process is consisting with the following steps.

• Author/s submit the manuscript to JES office in Faculty of Engineering, Sana’a University or send it to the Editor of JES by e-mail; editor.jessu@gmail.com
• After receiving the manuscript we will send a confirmation e-mail to the author/s.
• Primary quality will be checked by the Editor.
• After the checking of Editor if the paper meets the scope of JES we will send a payment request to the author/s.
• After received the publication fees (Cash/ Money Transfer) the review process will start.
• The manuscript will be sent for double blinded review.
• Based on the double blinded review editor will take decision and the decision will be communicated to the author. Decisions can be three types like accepted without revision, resubmit with major/minor revisions, rejected.
• After the final review process if the paper will accepted we will send an accepted letter with a copyright request (copyright form) to the author/s. Author need to send the copyright form within 6 days after requested e-mail.

Publication Fees:

Authors are required to make payment (see the table below) as article publication fee only after the editor inform the author/s that the article meets JES scope. After received the publication fees (Cash/ Money Transfer) the review process will start.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

General:

The Journal publishes original research articles on Engineering fields (Civil, Electrical, Telecommunications, Electronics, Mechtronics, Mechanical, Architecture, Urban studies …etc). Articles should be written in English and Arabic and prepared in MS Word. Detailed submission guidelines follow the requirements below.

Structure of the article:

A paper should include the following: title, author byline and affiliations, abstract (less than 250 words), subject headings, text, conclusion, and references. Tables, figures, mathematics, and supplemental data are optional. A paper should have less than 8,000 words, including figures, tables, etc.

Review process:

Each paper is reviewed by the editor and, if it is judged suitable for this publication, it is then sent to at least two independent referees for double blind peer review. Based on their recommendation, as well as consultation between relevant Editorial Board members the editor then decides whether the paper should be accepted as is, revised or rejected.

Submission of papers:

An author interested in participating in the Journal of Engineering Sciences –JES can submit his/her paper through e-mail; editor.jessu@gmail.com Once the paper has been received by the technical editor, the author will receive a confirmation letter. The review process will be initiated by reviewers from various regions. Copyright:

Copyright material - If excerpts from other copyrighted works are included, the author must obtain written permission from the copyright owners and submit documentation of this step.

Copyright transfer – Manuscript submission shall be accompanied by a copyright transfer form assigning all rights to JES. Requests for reproduction or republication of the paper, in whole or in part, should be sent to the Editor of JES by e-mail; editor.jessu@gmail.com
